25' Center Console Jet Boat "NECTAR"

NECTAR was designed for a very discriminating fisherman who wanted a fast and stable platform for fishing in Cape Cod Bay that would also turn heads where ever she traveled. In order to provide a blistering top speed combined with the ability to get into the shallows, a Mercury 300 hp V8 was coupled to a Hamilton water jet.

The wood hull was built with a laminated plywood bottom and strip planked and veneered topside. All surfaces were finished with a layer of glass and a Awlgriped mirror finish. The custom console was trimmed with varnished teak and includes all of the electronics that will give the angler an unfair advantage.

Nectar was built by Pease Boatworks and launched in 2003. You can read all about the design and construction process in WoodenBoat issue #175 (December 2003).

A complete set of plans and full size loftings are available.
